Job Summary
Restaurant General Manager oversees daily restaurant operations to drive profitability, guest satisfaction, and team performance. Accountable for managing the P&L, reviewing financial metrics, and driving sales through proactive guest service and local marketing. Leads recruitment and onboarding, trains and coaches Team Members, Shift Coordinators, and an Assistant Manager, and ensures compliance with government regulations and Brand standards. Responsible for labor planning, scheduling, and ensuring high-quality guest experiences in a 20-45 employee environment. Must possess strong leadership, operational, and people-development skills and be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role requires overseeing the restaurant’s operations under the direction of the District Manager and performing duties of the Assistant Manager & Hourly Shift Coordinator when necessary, at a Burger King location in Walworth, WI.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of college preferred
- 1-2 years of previous restaurant management experience
- Strong understanding of P&L management & drivers of restaurant profitability
- Ability to prioritize own and others’ work and time to meet deadlines and objectives
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed
