Job Summary
Operational leader of the restaurant overseeing daily operations, guest experience, team development, financial performance, and service execution while working closely with ownership and culinary leadership. Lead all daily restaurant operations, recruit/hire/onboard/train, coach supervisors and staff, manage scheduling/labor/payroll, monitor sales and expenses, oversee inventory/purchasing/vendor relationships, coordinate events, and ensure food safety and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with culinary leadership and ownership to maintain high hospitality standards and drive growth in a high-volume independent restaurant and bar in Philadelphia.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Restaurant General Manager experience
- Experience managing teams of 20+ employees
- Strong understanding of restaurant financials and P&L management
- Experience with labor management, scheduling, and payroll
- Inventory and purchasing experience
- Proven success developing and retaining teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Food safety knowledge
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
