Job Summary
The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) is responsible for the operational and fiscal effectiveness of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with all company and government regulations. This includes overseeing guest services, food and employee safety, employee relations and development, and financial objectives. The role demands recruiting, training, and developing the restaurant team while maintaining a positive work environment. Key responsibilities include managing financial controllables, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction, adhering to food safety standards, and implementing marketing programs. The RGM must demonstrate strong leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills, with a minimum of three years of restaurant management experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance for positions that require driving.
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) years of restaurant management experience, which includes P&L responsibility.
- Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field are preferred.
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements.
