Job Summary
The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) is responsible for the operational and fiscal effectiveness of the restaurant, ensuring adherence to Company standards and regulations. Key responsibilities include recruitment, training, and development of staff, maintaining guest satisfaction and financial controls, implementing marketing programs, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and effectively managing operations. The RGM must have strong leadership and communication abilities, complete required paperwork timely, and maintain relationships with the restaurant team, management, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years of restaurant management experience with P&L responsibility
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license and insurance for positions requiring driving
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field
Additional Requirements
- Positions requiring significant business driving must maintain an acceptable driving record (MVR)
