Job Summary
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for the operational and fiscal effectiveness of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and protecting company assets. Key responsibilities include people development through recruitment and training, maintaining employee relations and performance reviews, optimizing customer service to achieve guest satisfaction, managing financial controls and audits, ensuring operational procedures and compliance with health standards are met, and executing marketing programs. Effective managers will take personal ownership, show organized discipline, collaborate well with teams, and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Three (3) years of restaurant management experience, including P&L responsibility
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
- Reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field
Additional Requirements
