Job Summary
General Manager oversees daily restaurant operations at Zaxby’s, focusing on staffing, coaching, guest experience, sales growth, cost control, and adherence to brand standards. Responsibilities include staffing, training and development, schedule management, driving profitability, maintaining product quality and safety, and fostering a positive team culture. Requires leadership, organizational skills, ability to manage performance, and achievement of operational targets; includes completing required training and certifications (Food Safety, Manager Certification), plus ongoing compliance with company policies and procedures. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years restaurant management experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Open availability and ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Background check and motor vehicle report clearance
- Leadership qualities and ability to interact cooperatively with others
- Restaurant management experience preferred
- Some college preferred
