Job Summary
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for the operational and fiscal effectiveness of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards and government regulations. Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, and developing staff; managing employee relations and performance reviews; overseeing customer service to meet guest satisfaction; managing financial controllables and audits; ensuring operational compliance with safety and cleanliness standards; and implementing marketing programs. This role requires a high school diploma, three years of restaurant management experience, food safety certification, and reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Three (3) years of restaurant management experience, which includes P&L responsibility and proven experience managing all shifts without supervision
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
- Reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field
Additional Requirements
- District Managers and ASLs with positions requiring significant business driving must maintain an acceptable driving record (MVR)
