Job Summary
The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) is responsible for the operational and fiscal effectiveness of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards and government regulations. Key responsibilities include developing the restaurant team through recruiting and training, managing financials including controlling labor and food costs, maintaining guest satisfaction, implementing marketing programs, and ensuring restaurant safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate should possess three years of management experience, a high school diploma, and food safety certification.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years of restaurant management experience with P&L responsibility
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license and insurance for positions that require driving
