Job Summary
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational and fiscal aspects of the restaurant. Key responsibilities include developing and training restaurant staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, managing financials, maintaining compliance with food and safety regulations, and executing marketing initiatives. Candidates must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Three years of restaurant management experience and a high school diploma are required; advanced degrees and food safety certification are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Three (3) years of restaurant management experience, including P&L responsibility
- Proven experience managing all shifts without supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related field preferred
- Food safety certification according to state or local requirements
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Additional Requirements
- Must maintain acceptable driving record (MVR) for positions requiring significant business driving
