Job Summary
Restaurant Floor Supervisor overseeing daily front-of-house operations in a high-volume upscale seafood restaurant. Responsible for supervising front-of-house staff, managing scheduling with HotSchedules, overseeing inventory to minimize waste, ensuring health and sanitation compliance, training and mentoring staff, handling guest inquiries and complaints, collaborating with kitchen and management for seamless service, utilizing Toast POS for order accuracy, sales tracking, and reporting, and assisting with opening/closing procedures including cash handling and POS reconciliation. Requires at least 2 years of supervisory/management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency with HotSchedules and Toast POS, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 2 Years proven experience in restaurant supervision or management, preferably in upscale or seafood dining environments
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including scheduling, inventory, and POS systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure in a high-volume setting
- Proficiency with HotSchedules and Toast POS system is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality management training is a plus
