Job Summary

Hands-on Restaurant Chef role at Peppina, The Tasman in Hobart, supporting the preparation and execution of service, delivering authentic Italian dishes and memorable dining experiences. You will maintain mise en place, ensure consistency in quality, support stock rotation and waste minimisation, uphold food safety and HACCP standards, work with the Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams to deliver a seamless guest experience, and contribute to a professional, team-focused kitchen culture while continuously developing culinary skills under senior chefs.

Required Qualifications

  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster
  • Previous experience in a professional restaurant, hotel, or premium dining kitchen
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP principles
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
