Job Summary
Prepare and serve beverages to banquet and hotel guests, set up and break down banquet bars, and manage bar functions (house, premium, cash, open) according to standard policies. Read and verify Banquet Event Orders to determine function details, set up portable bars in function areas, and ensure compliance with local, state, federal and company beverage-service requirements. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the bar area, remove waste, and assist with equipment return. The role may include working in other hotel areas as needed to support operations and guest service.
Required Qualifications
- Experience handling and serving beverages in a hotel/restaurant environment
- Ability to set up and break down banquet bars according to policies
- Knowledge of banquet event orders and bar operations
- Compliance with local/state/cederal beverage-service regulations
- Safe handling of glassware and removal of trash from service areas
- Willingness to assist in other hotel operations as needed
