Job Summary
Verify customers' ages, mix traditional and creative cocktails, and process payments while maintaining open tabs throughout your shift. Clean glasses and bar utensils, make suggestions based on customer tastes, and build rapport with regulars to create a positive atmosphere. Record and balance cash receipts, prepare deposits, and enforce company policies regarding alcohol consumption. You must hold an unexpired RBS certification, speak English fluently, and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Prefer 2 years of bartending experience in high-volume restaurants
- RBS unexpired certification
- Display knowledge of drink recipes, drink and wine merchandising specials
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- Working knowledge of drink service and bar terminology
- Meet the minimum age requirement of the jurisdiction
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
- Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Background check required
