Job Summary
Take orders, serve food and drink, process payments, and ensure every guest has an excellent experience while delivering the "perfect serve." Learn menus, confidently explain dishes, and prepare coffees and serve alcohol and wine in both bar and restaurant settings. Work opening and closing shifts, including weekends and bank holidays on a pro-rata basis, while helping with events, functions, and other F&B requirements. Maintain site service standards and interact with guests in a lively, fast-paced environment. Join a diverse group owning 15 hotels and bars throughout East Anglia and Surrey, with opportunities for apprenticeships, training, and internal promotion.
Required Qualifications
- Has a positive, can‐do attitude towards customers and other team.
- A genuine enthusiasm for learning about all things food and drink — including spirits, wines, cocktails, and delivering the “perfect serve”.
- A willingness to understand different food styles and service standards, learn the menus, and confidently explain dishes to customers.
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interacting with guests in a lively, fast‐paced environment.
- The ability to deliver great service — taking orders, serving food and drink, processing payments, and ensuring every guest has an excellent experience.
- Commitment to meeting site service standards and working effectively as part of the team.
- A developing or good understanding of preparing coffees and serving alcohol and wine in both bar and restaurant settings.
- Availability to work opening and closing shifts, including weekends and bank holidays on a pro‐rata basis.
