Job Summary
Restaurant Back Server (Busser) at JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery in Paso Robles, supporting Michelin-level dining and Forbes 5-star service. Responsible for building and resetting tables, marking flatware and glassware, running/clearing courses, maintaining water and beverage service, and coordinating with Captains and Lead Servers to uphold high-end service standards. Requires 3+ years of restaurant serving experience (casual) or 2+ years as back waiter in Forbes/Michelin settings, strong sense of urgency, speed, and teamwork. Schedule Thursday–Sunday (3:00 PM–11:30 PM or closing); English communication required; Valid Food Handler’s Card; uniform and appearance standards enforced. Pay range $19.50–$22.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities. Located at the JUSTIN Estate, Paso Robles, CA.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in serving at restaurants (casual) OR 2+ years experience as back waiter in Forbes 5-star or Michelin restaurants
- Ability to work full-time (30-35 hours per week) and late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Valid Food Handler’s Card
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail
- Solution-oriented, skilled at proactively identifying service challenges and supporting servers to ensure flawless fine dining experiences
- Ability to work quickly in a high-paced, physically and mentally demanding environment
