Job Summary
Assistant Manager at Zaxby’s responsible for delivering great guest experiences and managing daily restaurant operations. Duties include ensuring operational standards, creating effective work schedules, delegating shift assignments, supervising and coaching team members, training and development, maintaining food safety and manager certifications, ensuring compliance with policies and local laws, handling guest and team member concerns, and maintaining a positive culture and strong team morale. Must lead by example, communicate performance expectations, and contribute to achieving quarterly goals while upholding service quality, product standards, and cleanliness.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years management experience required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
- Open availability and ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 48 hours per week
- Successful completion of background check
- Leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others
