Job Summary
Assistant Manager at Huddle House oversees restaurant staff performance and guest experience, handles HR at the unit level (hiring/termination, employee relations, training), manages daily paperwork and budgeting against COGS/EBITDA, ensures cleanliness and sanitation, creates staffing schedules with the General Manager, conducts monthly staff meetings, engages with the community to drive business, enforces brand standards and policies, and trains staff on POS and back/front-of-house operations. Requires 2-3 years of restaurant operations experience and a current ServSafe Certification. The role focuses on guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in daily restaurant operations
- Ability to communicate effectively with all hourly associates
- Ability to cover all shifts during the normal operation of the unit
- Previous restaurant experience required
- Current ServSafe Certification
