Job Summary
Lead the restaurant team as Restaurant Assistant Manager, guiding the crew through shifts, setting example for outstanding customer service, and ensuring smooth operations including subs preparation, register operation, scheduling, and other shift duties. The role requires prior restaurant experience, leadership, the ability to motivate others, strong communication, multitasking, and a positive attitude. Must be able to read and interpret documents (crew handbook), have a valid driver’s license, proficiency with MS Office, and be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical duties include standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Location is Ann Arbor, MI. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work on occasion nights, weekends, and holidays
- Standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as the crew handbook
- Restaurant experience and leadership qualities
- Effective communication with customers and co-workers
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task
- Ability to supervise and motivate a crew
- Sub preparation and basic cash-handling skills
