Job Summary
Assistant Managers are responsible for ensuring that the restaurant delivers great experiences to guests while maintaining operational standards. You will manage the daily operations of the restaurant ensuring that the team properly follows all processes, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include training and coaching team members, creating effective work schedules, delegating shift assignments, supervising staff, maintaining service and product quality, handling guest and team member concerns, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and local laws, and supporting performance reviews and staff development. The role offers quarterly bonus potential up to 12% of annual earnings and a range of benefits including meals, paid time off, holidays, training, and retirement and insurance options.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
- Open availability and ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 48 hours per week
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Successful completion of background check
- Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others
- 1-3 years management experience required
- Restaurant management experience preferred
- Food Safety Certification and Manager Certification
- Any additional training required by Zax LLC
