Job Summary
Assistant Manager at Zaxbys responsible for leading daily restaurant operations, coaching and developing team members, creating effective schedules, ensuring guest experiences meet standards, maintaining food safety and manager certifications, enforcing policies and procedures, and driving performance toward quarterly goals while maintaining a positive culture and ensuring compliance with laws and brand guidelines. Key skills include leadership, training and development, scheduling, communication, problem solving, safety and quality control, guest service, and a proactive approach to coaching and performance management. Responsibilities also include handling guest concerns, reporting issues to leadership, and upholding brand standards and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
- Open availability and ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 48 hours per week
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Successful completion of background check
- 1-3 years management experience required
- Restaurant management experience preferred
