Job Summary

Restaurant Supervisor leads and oversees restaurant, room service, and club room operations to ensure quality service, food and beverage presentation, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include training workers in food preparation, service, sanitation, and safety; cash handling, deposits, and payroll; supervising cleaning activities; resolving customer complaints; controlling inventories of food, equipment, smallware, and liquor; procuring supplies; evaluating procedures and staff performance; forecasting staffing and equipment needs; ensuring maintenance schedules; greeting and seating guests, presenting menus and wine lists, taking reservations, and processing payments; maintaining production records and schedules; and maintaining compliance with quality standards and safety procedures. Requires a High school diploma or GED plus related experience, 2 years of supervisor experience, and relevant certifications (TIPS/CARE preferred).

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 years experience as Restaurant Supervisor
  • Must be TIPS, CARE (or equivalent) certified, or become certified by first day on the job
  • Minimum 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Must have good understanding of the English language and previous guest/customer relations training
