Job Summary
Office-based Employment Adviser role in North Walsham. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing a caseload to help customers overcome barriers and progress into sustainable employment, working toward and exceeding KPIs, conducting thorough assessments to understand individual circumstances, creating and delivering tailored action plans with practical job-search and interview support, building strong employer and stakeholder relationships using local labour market knowledge to source opportunities, and actively promoting safeguarding and Prevent duty. The role emphasizes customer-focused career guidance, employability mentoring, and alignment with contractual/quality standards while supporting people to move into meaningful work.
Required Qualifications
- Essential: Foundational knowledge of self-employment with ability to offer guidance and signposting
- Confident IT skills including Microsoft Office and digital tools
- Proven ability to thrive in a target-driven environment
- Experience delivering high-quality services and meeting contractual/quality standards
- Desirable: Understanding of the employability sector; knowledge of recruitment landscape; experience providing information, advice and guidance; full UK driving licence (desirable).
