Restart - Employment Adviser -(Cheshire)

Employment Adviser role based in Cheshire (office-based). You’ll manage a caseload of participants, coach and mentor them to overcome barriers to employment, provide tailored job-search support and guidance, build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, and help them achieve sustainable employment. Key responsibilities include achieving performance targets, delivering assessments to understand personal circumstances and goals, signposting to self-employment options, co-producing personalised action plans with SMART targets, supporting with job-search and interview preparation, enabling access to guided self-service learning and online job vacancies, ensuring evidence requirements for job starts, understanding the local labour market, direct marketing to employers, building relationships with key stakeholders (e.g., chambers of commerce, partner managers), maintaining customer records to quality standards, and participating in continuous improvement. Essential skills include knowledge of the local labour market, basic self-employment knowledge, IT proficiency across Microsoft Office, experience in a target-driven environment, and experience delivering services to meet standards. There may be a DBS check depending on role.
