Responsible Manager – Children’s Residential Services

Job Summary
Lead strategic and operational management across a cluster of children’s homes specialising in Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities. Oversee safeguarding, regulatory compliance, governance and quality assurance; drive service development, recruitment and implementation of therapeutic care models; lead preparations for Ofsted inspections; coach and appraise Registered Managers to foster high performance; deliver performance, regulatory, and growth reports to the Board; ensure registration of new services; travel across multiple sites with a full UK driving licence. Requires Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), eligibility to register with Ofsted as Responsible Individual, and strong leadership and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Eligibility to register with Ofsted as a Responsible Individual
- Experience managing and leading multiple children’s homes
- Safeguarding, compliance and current regulatory frameworks
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across multiple sites
