Job Summary
Senior Golang Engineer role focusing on designing, developing, testing, integrating, and supporting innovative Golang-based solutions in a remote LATAM context. The position emphasizes high-performance application design, agile collaboration, deployment automation, and staying current with cloud and data-system technologies. The candidate should lead with architecture and implementation decisions, drive automated testing (TDD) and production-readiness, and act as a thought leader across multi-site teams. Strong emphasis on AWS/GCP/Azure, containers and microservices, SQL/NoSQL databases, and modern software development practices.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Golang
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience in test driven development and writing automated unit test
- Demonstrated experience delivering product features
- Strong understanding of software design/architecture and tradeoffs
- Experience using cloud providers such as AWS, GCP and Azure
- Familiar with pub/sub/queueing systems and architectures
- Strong understanding and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with containers, micro-services and related ecosystems
- Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
