Job Summary
Response Managing Associate to deploy on on-call missions within Hagerty Consulting’s emergency response function. Responsibilities include developing incident documents (IAP drafts, branch work assignments), conducting needs assessments and situational analyses, coordinating inter-agency operations with state/local government and NGOs, creating SOPs aligned with NIMS/ICS, and providing status updates to leadership. Requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to work 12-hour shifts as client tempo dictates. Salary $70,000–$110,000 plus comprehensive benefits. This role supports potential future openings and may involve extensive deployment during activations.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university and at least three (3) years of professional experience, or a total of at least six (6) years of experience in a relevant field may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System (ICS) All-Hazards Position Specific training courses or credentials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint).
- The ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed based on the client’s operational tempo.
