Job Summary
Response Controller responsible for monitoring, managing and prioritising SCADA and Telemetry alarms within a defined geographic area for Welsh Water assets. Duties include acting as the initial focal point for identifying asset failures, alarm optimisation, coordinating with area supervisors and operatives, calculating river raw water availability, remote control of assets, logging helpdesk calls, compiling shift handover reports, and generating ad-hoc alarm reports. Requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, stakeholder liaison, customer-service orientation, and the ability to work under pressure in a 40.8-hour permanent role with shift allowances.
