Job Summary
Lead the sourcing strategy and cost planning for all relevant projects by defining robust purchasing strategies, detailed cost sheets, and stable supplier lists while managing Value Engineering initiatives. Direct Project Tender Managers and cost analysts to execute tender phases, including pre-acquisition concepts, screening, and budgetary offers, ensuring client specifications for procurement and logistics are fully integrated. Approve tender sourcing strategies, direct equipment costs, and selected supplier lists, verifying alignment with cost databases and establishing fixed-price scenarios. Manage price revision formulas, risk identification, and client negotiations for firm offers, while overseeing risk provisions, project plans, and deviation approvals. Drive cost-out strategies, including Design to Cost and Should Cost methodologies, to optimize competitiveness, and lead major negotiations and strategic changes. Manage team resources, performance evaluations, and continuous skill development, ensuring strict adherence to EHS, nuclear safety, and ethical compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of experience in procurement
- 7 years in team management, coordination or project management
- 5 years in an international / global environment
- Confirmed experience in team management and cross-functional organization animation
- Good knowledge of supplier markets, cost levers and main components and systems within its scope
- Knowledge of power plant systems
- Solid experience in commercial and contractual negotiation
- Mastery of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in French and English
- Mastery of project management methods and tools: cost estimation, planning, WBS/DOW, risk management
- Capacity to lead complex projects within multicultural, matrix and international teams
- Recognized leadership, influence and decision-making ability
- Strong ability to define priorities and transform strategy into operational results
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Solid skills in analysis, problem solving, finance and commercial development
- Proven operational experience in a Lean environment with implementation of indicators and performance rhythms
- Strong internal customer orientation and service sense
- Capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary stakeholders to optimize company results
- Strict adherence to EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) rules
- Strong sensitivity to nuclear safety issues and respect of associated processes
- Respect of company ethics and compliance rules
- Rigorous application of quality requirements and processes
- Commitment to reducing environmental footprint and responsible energy consumption
