Job Summary
Develop and update the project EHS plan and site procedures from mobilization through completion. Coordinate the implementation of GEV EHS programs and ensure the effective application of Life Saving Rules, permit-to-work procedures, and high-risk operation protocols. Conduct rigorous site inspections, coach construction teams on safety plans, and manage subcontractor EHS compliance from prequalification through demobilization. Deliver EHS awareness sessions, lead toolbox talks, and investigate accidents to drive corrective actions. Report unsafe conditions to project management and maintain all required EHS documentation and regulatory compliance for the Manic-3 hydroelectric rehabilitation project in Quebec.

- Ensuring compliance with environmental requirements
- Participation in waste, discharge, and emissions management on site
- Optimal and efficient management of rescue and EHS equipment and PPE
- Creation, management, conservation, and archiving of required EHS documentation
- Use of Gensuite and/or Complyworks for EHS documentation
- Completion of EHS forms, registers, and training proofs
- Chemical lists
- FDS (Safety Data Sheets)
- Registers, inventories, and inspection/calibration proof of EHS equipment
