Job Summary
Category Procurement Manager responsible for overseeing electronic supplier relationships, defining and deploying the electronics category purchasing strategy, negotiating framework contracts, and implementing competitiveness plans. Accountable for overall supplier performance (quality, costs, lead times, risks) and coordinating cross-functional projects with Thales centers in France. Requires a Bac+5 level education (Master 2/MBA/engineering or business school) and several years of significant electronics purchasing experience in a technologically advanced industrial setting. Strong analytical, negotiation, supplier-management, and cross-functional collaboration skills are expected, with autonomy, tenacity, leadership, and influence abilities being valued assets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with specialization in purchasing or engineering/commerce
- several years of significant experience in electronic purchasing within a high-tech industrial environment
- experience in value analysis, structuring purchasing strategies
- experience in complex contractual negotiations
- supplier performance management
