Respite Support Worker

Provide temporary relief to primary caregivers by supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs in community-based settings across Hertfordshire. Responsibilities include personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, feeding), household tasks (cooking, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping), medication administration as directed by care plans, and facilitating community participation. Emphasis on compassionate, patient, and empathetic support; strong communication skills; ability to remain calm in challenging situations; must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle. Training provided; roles available as full-time and part-time across weekdays (Mon-Fri) with flexible daytime hours.
