Job Summary
Provide one-on-one care to youth and young adults when primary caregivers are unavailable, ensuring their safety and well-being. Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, ambulation, and housekeeping duties such as cooking, cleaning, and running errands. Offer simple emotional support, promote mental alertness through engaging activities, and instruct clients on household management. Maintain records of client progress and report changes to supervisors while participating in case reviews and in-service training. Adhere to all agency policies and procedures. Requires a valid driver's license, automobile, and proof of car insurance. Minimum of three references and a criminal background check are required. High school diploma or equivalent needed; two years experience preferred.
