Job Summary
Provides day, weekend, and overnight community support services to children in the Children, Youth and Family Program or the Developmental Disabilities program. Responsibilities include implementing interventions and activities to develop healthy skills, maintaining clear boundaries with families, providing transportation, and keeping client records updated. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated knowledge of child and youth development, the ability to monitor a child's safety, and skills in offering compassionate support to children from diverse backgrounds. Must model professional behavior while interacting with clients and families.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of behavior management and procedures for maintaining confidentiality are desirable
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in community settings
- Has a driver’s license with no history of driving or other violation
