Job Summary
Respite Private Duty Caregiver provides in-home care to elderly clients across the Upper Connecticut River Valley (e.g., New London, NH and surrounding areas). Responsibilities include assisting with personal care and hygiene, managing light housekeeping, encouraging clients to meet exercise goals, prompting medication at the right times, assisting with shopping and groceries, planning and preparing meals in collaboration with clients, aiding mobility and transport to appointments, reporting health changes promptly, and ensuring client safety. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, excellent time-management, strong communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of basic housekeeping and cooking tasks, ability to pass background checks and drug screens, First Aid/emergency response training, flexibility in scheduling, and a heart for helping vulnerable individuals. Required Qualifications
