Respite Home Health Aide (Toms River)

Provide one-on-one care to youth and young adults when primary caregivers are unavailable, ensuring their safety and well-being while delivering simple emotional and psychological support. Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, ambulation, cooking, cleaning, and running errands, while actively promoting the client's mental alertness through age-appropriate activities. Maintain records of client progress and services performed, reporting changes in condition to the manager or supervisor, and participate in case reviews to evaluate needs and plan continuing services. Adhere to all agency administrative and clinical policies and procedures, attend required in-service training, and pass a criminal background check including fingerprinting. Requires a valid driver's license, automobile, and proof of car insurance, with a high school diploma or equivalent and more than two years of experience preferred.
