Job Summary
Provide one-on-one care to youth and young adults when primary caregivers are unavailable, ensuring their safety and well-being while delivering simple emotional and psychological support. Assist with daily living activities including personal hygiene, ambulation, and housekeeping tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and running errands. Prepare and maintain records of client progress, reporting changes in condition to supervisors. Actively promote mental alertness through age-appropriate activities and instruct clients on household management, nutrition, and hygiene. Participate in case reviews and attend required in-service training while adhering to all agency policies. Requires a valid driver's license, automobile, and proof of car insurance; candidates must pass a criminal background check and provide three references. High school diploma required with two years of experience preferred.

- Minimum of three references

- Valid driver's license
- Proof of car insurance
- Must pass a criminal background check including fingerprinting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to perform prolonged periods of standing, bending and lifting
