Respite Companion (10 - 15 hours per week)

Provide in-home and/or community engagement services to a caregiver's loved one with severe mental illness to enable the caregiver to attend to other needs. Help increase the client’s independence by accompanying them to meals and activities, support stress reduction within the family through a strength-based service plan, and expand the client’s interactions outside the home. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree preferred), valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle, clean driving record, ability to provide safe transportation, and successful background check and drug screen. Part-time role (approximately 10 hours per week) with flexible hours; mileage reimbursement available and flex funds for meals/activities.
