Job Summary
Provides quality care and assistance for clients in the absence of parents/guardians, in family homes or Broward Children's Center facilities. Duties include skilled nursing care, behavioral intervention, and facilitating developmental activities. Essential skills involve assisting with daily living tasks and responding to emergencies. Applicants should have a high school diploma, one year of childcare experience, and relevant certifications. Bilingual skills are a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One year of childcare experience, preferably with special needs population
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- HIV Course, 1st Aid, OSHA, Medication Certification
- CPR certification
- Current Auto Insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Creole
- PCM training/experience preferred
