Job Summary
Respite At Home Caregiver responsibilities include providing in-home care to enrich clients' quality of life and support wellness per care plans. Duties include assisting with personal care and hygiene, light physical activity, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, reporting health changes, providing companionship, responding to emergencies, accompanying clients on shopping trips, reminding about medications, assisting with mobility at home and during errands/appointments, and supporting client needs with compassion. Opportunities for advanced training in dementia/Alzheimer’s care are available. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license and vehicle, strong communication skills, and complete First Aid/emergency response training. Flexible schedules with full-time or part-time shifts, including 8- or 12-hour shifts. Benefits include PTO, mileage reimbursement, direct deposit, continuing education, and holidays off. Required Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to transport clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties
- Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at scheduled times
- Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints
- Willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (e.g., background check)
