Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist assignment performing inpatient and outpatient respiratory care across units, including ventilator management, ICU/NICU duties, ABG sampling, EKGs, spirometry, oximetry, CPAP/BiPAP, and pulmonary diagnostics. Provides care per physician orders with protocol-driven practice, supports CPR and airway management, and conducts pulmonary function testing and sleep-related diagnostics. Night shift on a 7-day maximum time off window with weekend and holiday coverage; travel-only role with potential floating to additional units and locations. Requires licensure, BLS, ACLS, and RRT certifications, with pre-employment modules and multiple interview slots required. Role involves inpatient floor care and outpatient diagnostics for pediatric to geriatric patients; call as needed. Candidates must be located >75 miles from Montrose facility and willing to relocate for assignment; COVID vaccination required post-submission.
Required Qualifications
- Current, competent knowledge of intensive care and neonatal intensive care, including EKG, ABG, spirometry, and oximetry
- Current Respiratory Therapist license (RRT)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- Crew must have license (required after submission)
- Certification: ACLS, BLS, RRT

- Travel only; local not allowed
- Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted
- COVID vaccination required after submission (religious and medical declinations accepted)
- 8y? 12 months gap requirement between programs at Montrose HealthTrust (as specified)
