Job Summary
Travel Respiratory Therapist for Respiratory Unit: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shift with 12 months of experience (3 months in last 12 months) and Epic proficiency. Must hold a license, may float to additional units/locations, and travel only (local not allowed); candidates must live >50 miles from the facility. Aya Program references and a 12-month gap requirement apply. Pre-employment modules and upload of certifications/health documents recommended to expedite onboarding. Lab requirements: complete all health-related requirements and labs within specified windows; references covering at least 1 year of relevant experience in the past 3 years. Skills include adult critical care, airway management (intubation/extubation, airway suctioning), NIV (BiPAP, CPAP), HFNC, ventilator management, ABG sampling, and related respiratory care procedures; equipment mentions Hamilton Vent, Servo-U, NKV330, V60. Unit scope includes neonatal to geriatric patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, pneumonia, respiratory failure, and infections. Scheduling includes every other weekend, on-call, 12-hour night shifts, 13-week contract length, 3 shifts per week; location Rochester, NY, USA.
