Respiratory Therapy Tech Student - Optional

Temporary Respiratory Therapy Student role assisting licensed respiratory care practitioners in patient care settings appropriate to student level; duties include assembling equipment and circuitry, cleaning and disinfecting department equipment following infection control guidelines, transporting supplies, providing licensed RCPs with necessary supplies and replenishing inventory, and demonstrating proficiency in EKGs and related activities under the direction of a licensed RCP. Requires enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and completion of stipulations for a limited permit with the Ohio State Medical Board. Location is Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, OH; schedule is optional with preferences for nights, weekends, and holidays. The department emphasizes SERVE values and professional development.
