Job Summary
Respiratory Therapy Supervisor leads inpatient respiratory care services within an Encompass Health rehabilitation setting. You will supervise breathing treatments and patient assessments, develop personalized care plans, and coordinate respiratory therapy modalities and medications to support patient recovery. Build strong relationships with patients, guide a team of clinicians, ensure compliance with licensure and clinical protocols, and foster an environment focused on empathy, safety, and high-quality outcomes. The role emphasizes staff supervision, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development to support patient rehabilitation and well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Current State License in Respiratory Therapy
- CPR certification
- Associate's degree or higher from an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred
- Supervisor or management experience preferred
