Job Summary
Respiratory Therapy Supervisor coordinates and delivers respiratory therapy services in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role involves supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns to support recovery. The incumbent builds relationships with patients to support physical, mental, and emotional well-being, while mentoring staff and ensuring high-quality care using medical gas and breathing therapy modalities. Required qualifications include a state license in Respiratory Therapy and CPR certification; an Associate's degree or higher is expected, with ACLS preferred and supervisor/management experience preferred. The role emphasizes direct patient care, clinical leadership, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Current State License in Respiratory Therapy
- CPR certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Associate's degree or higher from an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred
- Supervisor or management experience preferred
