Job Summary
Provide direct respiratory care and supervise respiratory therapy services for inpatients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Lead patient assessments, develop and supervise care plans, oversee breathing treatments, and ensure quality patient outcomes. Maintain specialized skills in medical gas therapy and breathing modalities, foster patient and family education, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient rehabilitation and well-being. Requires state license in respiratory therapy and CPR; ACLS preferred; associate degree or higher; prior hospital/therapy supervision experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current State License in Respiratory Therapy
- CPR certification
- Associate's degree or higher from an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred
- Supervisor or management experience preferred
- ACLS certification preferred
