Job Summary
Direct care to patients in need of medical gas and breathing therapy; supervise breathing treatments and breathing-therapy-related care, lead patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns to support rehabilitation and recovery. Requires an active Respiratory Therapy state license, CPR certification, and an associate degree or higher; two years of hospital respiratory therapy experience and prior supervision/management experience are preferred; ACLS certification preferred. The role emphasizes guiding a team, ensuring compassionate patient care, and leveraging equipment and technology within an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current State License in Respiratory Therapy
- CPR certification
- Associate's degree or higher from an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy
- Supervisor or management experience preferred
- ACLS certification preferred
