Job Summary
As Respiratory Therapy Supervisor at Encompass Health, you will supervise the respiratory therapy team, provide direct patient care in respiratory therapy modalities and medical gas administration, lead patient assessments, develop personalized care plans, guide breathing treatments, and address patient concerns. You will build meaningful patient relationships, foster rehabilitation and well-being, and contribute to a collaborative inpatient rehabilitation environment. Candidates should hold an active state respiratory therapy license, CPR certification, and an associate’s degree or higher; supervisory/management experience is preferred, with ACLS preferred. The role emphasizes leadership, patient-centered care, and the use of advanced equipment within a supportive team setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current State License in Respiratory Therapy
- CPR certification
- Associate's degree or higher from an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred
- Supervisor or management experience preferred
