Job Summary
Respiratory Therapy Student PRN role under supervision of a licensed RCP focuses on administering and monitoring noninvasive respiratory therapy, performing diagnostic tests (spirometry, peak flow, vitals), ECGs as ordered, and maintaining accurate patient records. Responsibilities include responding to codes, ensuring infection control, documenting interventions, entering charges, giving shift reports, and setting up/monitoring oxygen therapy per policy. Requires High School/GED and BLS within 30 days; no travel required; hospital-based role within Round Rock, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
