Job Summary
Provide respiratory care to residents in a long-term care setting with geriatrics focus. Responsibilities include patient assessments and individualized care plans, administering and documenting respiratory treatments, monitoring vital signs, educating patients and families on respiratory care techniques, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and responding to emergencies with basic life support. On-site training is provided. This is a full-time role with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends; benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance plus continuing education opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Certified RRT, CRT, RCP, RN or LPN
- Current Indiana Respiratory Therapist license preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Basic life support certification required
