Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – RCP IIRole delivers respiratory therapy treatments (oxygen, aerosol, airway management), manages ventilators and high-flow oxygen systems, performs pulmonary diagnostics (ABGs, PFTs), and documents care in the EMR. Supports patient outcomes through collaboration with interdisciplinary teams; may serve as Lead RCP during assigned shifts. Requires State RCP license, NBRC RRT, BCLS, ACLS within 60 days, and prefers NRP/PALS; education preferred includes Associate or BS degree. Relocation assistance available; 36-hour schedule with 37.00–49.80/hour equivalent pay, 1,332–1,792.80/week, in Chicago metro area, Illinois (non-exempt, full-time, night shift). Required Qualifications
- State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the NBRC
- 2 years experience as an RCP preferred
- ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current
- NRP certificate preferred
- PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
